October 13th - And the day starts from here…
I was rushing to pack and pack and pack… and then couldn’t find my tripod. I ended up finding my dad’s old tripod that was really heavy and needed to be oiled LOL, but the tripod is really good :) I left the house at like 11.30pm >_< It took a while to persuade my dad to fetch me, since I had to drop by Cordelia’s house to pick up the camera and small tripod before heading to Gillian’s. Reached Gillian’s place past midnight, and then continued packing haha. We decided to bring her bigger tripod instead and stuffed it into her suitcase.
October 14th - Press Conference + Interview + Fanmeeting
After so long of wanting to use Gillian’s eye masks… nearly every single time I stay over at Gillian’s place -.- Finally used it!! Slept around 2.30~3am, and woke up at 4am zzz.
We reached the airport about 5+ am, and met up with Steff unnie :D Settled at Coffee Bean for breakfast, because Gillian reading the boarding time as 6.40AM.
Spicy puff that I wished was a normal curry puff… and caramel macchiato hehe :D
At 6.30AM we realised that we were supposed to board BY 6.40AM LOL so we quickly headed for the gate. Why am I always running for flights I have no idea… but this trip was pretty good already haha!

The flight only took 35mins, and about a total of 45mins maybe? Took the airport taxi to the hotel, which took nearly an hour.
I think we reached the hotel around 10+ am, and we couldn’t check in because the earliest check-in time is 2pm T.T So we hung around the lobby for a while, and it was so coincidental that Brian and Alexander were about to leave the hotel to go for the radio interview… Saw them for a brief moment hahaha.
Afterwards we left our bags with the hotel and went next door to walk around Mid-Valley for a while and wait to check-in. I, especially, had to work on my script, which I changed topic at the very last minute so I had to start from scratch >_<
Priority was WIFI, so we finally settled down at Starbucks haha. Gillian studied, Steff uploaded videos, and I was draining my brain juice.
After deciding to forgo lunch at about 1.30pm, we decided to try our luck to check in, and thankfully we could! I just realised I didn’t take a picture of the hotel room!!!!!!!!!! It wasn’t very big anyway hahaha. We started getting ready for the 3pm press conference (: SO HUNGRY AT THAT TIME BTW :( Thank goodness we received 2 huge fuji apples as a welcome gift. I kinda brought one down with me to eat ahahaha.
My eyes totally lit up when I saw a buffet reception HAHAHAHAHA~ Sorry lah I was hungry!!!
One day someone should take pictures/videos of the media during a press conference, they are like monkeys. Or at least Gillian and I were, scrambling here and there, climbing and standing on top of chairs, and hugging the tripod hoisting it as high as I can in order to not just capture heads of photographers in front. We weren’t really dressed for that lol (Gillian was in a dress and I was in a skirt) but who cares right hahahaha.
Anyway, it was tiring, but very fun HAHA, and Alexander and Brian look reaaaally good :D
It was interesting to hear about Starpark as well as 3rd Wave~

After the press conference we had to wait to interview Brian… only to find out that we were about to interview Alexander too!! :O We didn’t have questions prepared beforehand for him so we decided to use the same questions for Brian, and just added on one or two for Alex~ I totally missed the reception T-T because I was afraid it’d be our turn and I’d be busy eating LOL~ It looked like a nice buffet HAI :(((((( We were asked why we weren’t eating by some Starpark people haha~ and HAHAHAHA this is quite amusing, this lady asked us if we were from Korea or some other country LOL~ Oh yeah, the music director for Starpark flashed us his Singaporean ID when he heard that we’re from Singapore, saying that he’s been living in Malaysia for 10 years.
Anyway, the interviews went well! We interviewed Alexander first, followed by Brian. I kind of went in saying “Is it awkward to see us here…” but I think Alexander didn’t hear hahaha just asked us “How are you guys?” It was a really interesting experience, that’s all I can say HAHA. It made me kind of think of how it would be if I really do this type of job in the future… would I be able to remain “professional” under such circumstances? Perhaps if I was with a real company and all I would be more focused on the actual work haha, but the interview was quite an informal and relaxing but not sloppy one ;D And of course, we were calm and composed as usual rofl.. I was shaking on the inside but that always happens to me so LOL~ My typical inside 떨려 but still calm 모습.
Conclusion is that YES, I think I can really work under such circumstances. I probably need to focus a lot more though, but since it was Alexander and it was an informal interview, it’s OK la~
Most of all, I really liked the whole feel of the entire event. And I thought it was really great that there wasn’t any sort of… like people looking down on us because we’re young and all, or maybe because it wasn’t obvious at all that we were *coughs*fangirls*coughs* maybe because we made sure we looked presentable.. but there were a lot of young people actually hehe~

Gillian and I managed to talk a bit to Pastor Johnny as well. He’s really nice! Hopefully 3rd Wave can come to Singapore soon ;D
We took a short break before going back down again for the fanmeeting. Boy we were really fortunate to be staying at the same hotel… all we needed to do was to go upstairs to our hotel room and rest. And then coming downstairs again for the events. 완전 좋아~!!!

The fanmeet was basically lots of playing games with the fans haha. They had a representative from each country~ Alexander only had one fan for him, because most of the fans there were for Brian… since it was announced really late that Alexander was going to join the fanmeeting as well. He was really cute doing his own thing though haha, keep jumping off the stage and squatting at the corner lol… When Brian was having this 30 second eye contact with a Japanese fan, Alexander SANG Eternal Flame.. “Close your eyes, give me your hand darling.. do you feel my heart beating.. do you understand..” The next sentence is dedicating to whacking myself because I lost the videos from the fanmeeting *cries* ㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠ

Ooooh! We met and talked briefly to Menya, the only female vocalist for 3rd Wave ;D
She’s reaaaaally funny and nice hahahaha and her laughter is so infectious LOL!!
The fanmeeting ended pretty okay, about 10.20pm? We were really exhausted and dehydrated though, so luckily we managed to buy some water and lol half price sushi, vitagen, mandarin oranges….. in like 15mins before Carrefour was closing. I cannot stop emphasizing on how much I love the fact that Mid-Valley is attached to the hotel and we stayed at that hotel.
That was probably the longest day I’ve had in a very long time… the longest and most exhausting day; but the most fulfilling and satisfying too! We were so occupied and busy that I hardly had time to think about much things, other than trying to complete our tasks and wanting to pinch myself cos I can’t believe most of what happened in that day lol~
October 15th - Music Rally + Gillian’s Birthday!
Woke up for buffet breakfast!!~ This is the view from the 26th floor executive lounge hahaha but we decided to eat on the 9th floor since there’s more food there~
HMMMMMMM. Not the best I’ve eaten definitely… the chawanmushi became part of the table decor after like 2 bites oops~ It tasted like overcooked tofu >_< I still love buffet breakfasts though hehehehe~

After breakfast we decided to chill and relax~ Brought down my laptop to photobooth LOL~
If you’re reading this… now you must be sick of our faces HAHAHA~
We walked about Mid-Valley and did very little shopping~ Printed photos from the previous day~ Bought paper and envelopes mainly.. to write ;D I got a new bag too heheheheheh~ It’s a white backpack with blue, pink, yellow leopard prints outlined in black… Will take a picture next time~ Finally bought my Auntie Anne’s green tea pretzel~ ♥

After the 4pm session, we had our tickets for the 8pm session so we joined the audience (:
There were many technical glitches.. and unfortunately couldn’t really hear Alexander sing >_< But he sounded great~ and God was listening of course :) Gillian and I sang at the top of our lungs too especially… when the microphones went out haha. Menya sang “I Could Sing of Your Love Forever”… and finally at the end they all sang “Amazing Grace”~ Really really love that song ^-^
After the music rally.. WE WERE HUNGRY. OFCOURSE. Our new friends Eileen and Jessie姐 gave us a lift back to the hotel, where we had “dinner” at CHILLIS! We managed to make it for the last order hahaha at like 11.40pm~
I’m not sure what I ordered.. but it was reaaaaally yummy and so sinful T.T The top is cheese on tomato, which of course I gave the tomato to Gillian, and then there’s bacon and ham, fried prawns and then mashed potatoes. Umm Y…EAH… at like midnight ._. It’s really delicious though hahahaha~

Sigh… Of course when we got back to our room, no rest yet! Time to pack~
Managed to squeeze everything into my new backpack and my green bag and hand-carried my laptop~ So many things >_<
Slept at 4am because after packing everything and taking a shower, I completed my work and sent in.. the assignment was like 2 days late T-T But I have to say that the trip was definitely more than worth it!
October 16th - Going Home :(
Steff’s flight was much earlier than ours so she left first~ Gillian and I were still able to eat breakfast and squeezed in some studying. All the hype was over :( It was almost time to be back to reality~ Haha~
We reached the airport waaaay too early :( When we were finally able to check in~ Walked around for a while hahaha and debated having lunch, which we eventually skipped yet AGAIN. It’s that buffet breakfast’s fault I tell you.
Hehe we found ourselves at TOY PARADISE~ I really want the HAMSTER!!!!!!!!

It was kind of weird for 2 girls who just became adults to play and laugh in the toy shop HAHAHAHA I want the elmo that plays the drums too btw~
I found it really amusing how the signboard looked like it pointed our boarding gate inside Ralph Lauren LOL!!!
That was an amazing trip!! Praise God~ ^-^
