110805~110807 Hong Kong! + Alexander ;D

Lots of pictures ahead!! ;D I had an awesome time in Hong Kong, it felt like a dream! Other than seeing Alexander again, I met up with so many wonderful people on this trip! And… ate like a pig ><

Day 1

I was late for check-in.. and just so happened that when I arrived, the check-in system for flight to Hong Kong broke down!!!! So a looong queue was moved to another line, and for a moment I thought the plane would be delayed haha. Forever rushing for planes seriously! It only happens at the budget terminal LOL.

It was a pretty boring 3.5 hour plane ride~ I spent most of it reading

It’s a really good book by the way! xD

So F.I.N.A.L.L.Y after what felt like a 10-hour flight or something, I reached Hong Kong!! 8D It took me about an hour to clear customs though.. x_x there were SO MANY PEOPLE. Sarah and Siufung姐姐 told me later that it’s because a lot of people come to Hong Kong on Friday at that time.

Anyway, the first thing I ate/drank in Hong Kong was Starbucks haha~ Sarah姐姐 bought for me :D After knowing Sarah & Siufung姐姐 for more than 2 years.. we finally met!! :’) Talked while waiting for Lia to arrive (her plane was scheduled to land an hour after me) and when we finally gathered, we set off for our guest house! :D Sarah姐姐 wasn’t feeling well (had heatstroke ><) so she didn’t join us for dinner.

After getting our room and putting down our bags, Siufung姐姐 Lia and I left to find food! It was already 9+pm >< So we were all starving :x The place where we were staying at had a loooot of food and shops around so we walked around a while before settling down at a restaurant.

Ordered too much for 3 people haha.. Was really tired so didn’t really have a huge appetite! But the fish guotiao soup is SUPER NICE~~~ :D :D :D Actually everything we ordered was super nice!!

After dinner we had dessert.. Can’t believe that the whole restaurant was so crowded even though it was already 10.30pm!

:D Mine was the white one~ the yellow one is too egg-yolky for me! They taste like the custard in portuguese egg tarts! Yummy! :D After dinner was back to our room~!! It had been a looong day for everyone, but we had to organize our things and wash up before going to bed! Revealing.. our small but cozy, clean and comfortable room!

Our awesome Xanderettes 1.0 banner!!!! :’D It’s a cloth banner, and the words are SEWN ON! I think I can use this for 10 years HAHAHA.. It’s really pretty and nice.. Thanks Lia!! Anyway, after tidying up and organising things, and writing our letters for Alexander, we finally got our beauty sleep!

Day 2

The weather in Hong Kong is crazily hot T___T If you thought Singapore was bad.. this is worse! The weather is perfect for FBTs and a T-Shirt ><

We reached the place quite early.. when we arrived there was not many people! To be exact, there were really few people hehe. We saw Uncle Anthony and Aunty Chungmi and said Hi!! :D They were busy running around settling things, especially Aunty Chungmi hehehe. We spotted the Alexander standees and of course that results in lots of picture taking!!

And.. Money (the one who runs MR Xander_HK) spent a lot of effort in making these gifts for all the fans who came to attend the fanmeeting! Pretty creative eh!

I think LOL :P Too bad we all didn’t write our names on the questions! Victoria picked my question xD

Anyway.. surprisingly, the first programme after Alexander’s quick dance performance of Like A G6, it was the birthday cake + video surprise! :O

Welcome Victoria to the stage as a surprise MC! Haha~ She’s really pretty and super nice in real life!! Sarah姐姐 bought a really pretty cake.. I didn’t get to see it but it looks nice from here!! The cake had a microphone on top of it.. And of course it has a meaning too! Celebrating Alexander’s new journey as a solo artist.. where he will take on the stage.. himself ;D One Alexander. One microphone. One dream!

After singing birthday songs for Alexander in 3 languages - English, Cantonese and Korean, then came on the surprise video from all Xanderettes! Some of you may know that I wanted to make Alexander cry *gets bricked* and we all know that he doesn’t really cry easily, but more than the crying part, I wanted him to see the Xanderettes all around the world who really support him, especially the ones who couldn’t make it for the fanmeeting but should have been there! A big big big thanks to Sarah姐姐 for asking me to make a video for him, and his nice company and manager who let us screen the video! And, thanks to all the Xanderettes hehe, for being cooperative and also taking the time to take pictures or record their video messages ^-^

At first Lia and I thought he didn’t cry.. but when the lights came on.. OMG! T-T I felt a little bad, but also happy that I succeeded in my aim HAHA.. oops *gets bricked again* But it’s a GOOD thing, right? :P

*heart piang piang piang* Alexander was very thankful to the fans who went for the fanmeeting, saying that it wasn’t easy for everyone to come, because

1) Very short notice

2) Money for plane tickets, hotel, etc.

But! He left out one thing.. Did you all realize that nobody knew the programme of the fanmeeting, nobody knew what was going to happen at the fanmeeting, how it would be like, etc. YET everyone bought tickets just like that HAHA. We only realized we bought tickets not knowing what we were paying for… on the day of the fanmeeting itself. Haha.. Is this.. No reason when it comes to love ar. *wiggles finger*

They played videos of Alexander working hard.. and it really touched my heart because he really works hard, for his dream and for the sake of his fans.. all of us! It made me want to also work harder in supporting him :D

After this, was the Q&A session! Funniest moment was when he saw Siufung姐姐’s question and went “I CANNOT FORGIVE THIS PERSON…” but when he saw that it was Siufung姐姐… LOL. After this was the Alexander Quiz session! After that was the sandwich making session!! Lia and Charity got to go onstage to eat his weird sandwiches!

Lia might kill me for posting this but… somebody is smiling so happily ar :P I mean Alexander HAHA! Anyway you can’t see her face in this soooo.. But please DON’T post this picture ANYWHERE.. thank you. Lia took a bite and almost choked on gummy bears LOL~

Alexander to Charity: “OPEN YOUR MOUTH BIGGER!” His sandwich is made of bread, ham, lettuce, potato chips and gummy bears x_x You can see why Charity didn’t want to take a bigger bite HAHAHAHA.

Haha it was quite funny because before the fanmeeting, we were talking about what the programme would be, and we were saying that maybe he would cook for us or something.. It definitely wasn’t cooking (might’ve been disastrous if it was) but thankfully Lia got to bring the sandwich back cos we were all starving by that time!

Ahahahaha only posting my favourite picture everywhere :P The rest of my pictures aren’t nice.. really T-T He ended it with “Bad Girl” The entire song is in English! Super proud of Alexander hehe.. I always knew he can sing! Ever since this really obvious live performance of “니가좋아” 2 years ago… Finally!! He’s singing!! :’) Although his voice is autotuned, but you can still hear his voice clearly.. and it’s good! (: I want to hear a ballad though 8D

At the end, everyone got to take a group photo (row by row) with Alexander! He was really nice.. of course haha~ And thanked all of us for coming (: I noticed he jingled a lot, because of his bracelet :P And hmmm.. no rings o.O He never looked better though!

It was a really up-close and personal session.. didn’t really feel like a fanmeeting! We were free to shout whatever we wanted, or to do anything we wanted (as long as it’s reasonable la) so it was pretty funny because everyone kept shouting random things at random times LOL.. especially Siufung, Sarah, Lia and I HAHAHA. It was pretty quiet actually, because everyone was snapping away.. including me ><

Xanderettes 1.0 power!! Missing Gillian~ but she did appear on the video soooo.. In a way she was there with us too xD

After the fanmeeting ended, who wouldn’t be starving after all that!?!?!?! Since we missed out on hotpot on Friday night (cos Sarah wasn’t feeling well and couldn’t join us for dinner), and we were an awesome bunch of international people.. we went for HK style HOTPOT!! 8D 8D 8D Be prepared to drool everyone!!!!!

Day 3 (last day T.T)

We had a reaaaaaaally good sleep, since the previous day was exhausting! Plus the heat gets to your head and body >< After packing up, we were ready to go!

Met up with Sarah & Siufung姐姐 and ate a little sushi cos we were all really hungry! From then, our food journey began!! ;D

Durian pancake (the green one) & Durian with Vanilla Sauce, Strawberries and Green Tea Ice Cream *____* ♥O♥ ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ SUPER NICE ♥ I think Sarah姐姐 said Alexander came to eat this on the day he arrived or something xD

After that it was time to go to the airport :’( We were looking through and laughing through our pictures during the fanmeeting, on the bus xD

Wooooow~ Really… 3 days flew by just like that!! I have so many things I’m grateful to God for during this entire trip! First of all, being able to go.. Being able to meet up with Lia and bond together again, and see Alexander together omg! Next dream is for all the Xanderettes 1.0 (Lia, Gillian and I) to be together and see Alexander wahahahaha~ Being able to meet Sarah姐姐 and Siufung姐姐… after knowing each other and talking and praying for each other for more than 2 years.. finally met! Really thankful to God for these really great 姐姐s~ who took care of us throughout the entire trip! Also thankful for the opportunity to meet many new friends from different countries.. thanks to Mr Alexander haha, but ultimately thanks to God! Thankful for good weather while we were there (although we were sweating like crazy), and for the cheap yet safe, clean and comfortable guest house to stay in! And really thankful for these friends.. they are really the kind.. you know.. even when you don’t see them for a looooong while, when you do, you just catch up from where you left off~ ;D

After this fanmeeting, I realise that Alexander really treasures and loves his fans a lot~ Especially those who had been with him from the beginning! He always says that quality is more important than quantity.. and it’s really touching to know that he believes that we all are quality fans! Haha~ Of course.. without a quality Alexander, there wouldn’t be quality Xanderettes, right? ;D Hope to see you soon again, Alexander! ^-^

Finally.. thanks to my parents who came to fetch me at the airport at 1.30am in the morning!
